Most of these add-ins and programs are free and they allow you to maximise your time by using specially designed commands to clean up badly formatted documents to make them easier to translate and to eliminate excessive tags in CAT software, remove incorrect breaks or excessive spaces, check the quality of documents or worksheets, search glossaries, quickly format numbers for the target language, pre-translate common text in documents or worksheets, manually clean Trados-formatted documents, translate Visio and Autocad drawings, and do much more. Do check out these add-ins and programs (in the menu to the left) and you will find them indispensable. You can download them here.

  • Other Microsoft Office add-ins (Word, Excel, Visio) – Microsoft Office XP / 2003 or newer version
    (most tools will also run under Microsoft Office 2000)
  • TransTools for AutoCAD – AutoCAD 2002 or newer version
• Specific requirements for TransTools Utilities: .NET installation on Windows 2000 or at least Service Pack 2 on Windows XP or a higher Windows version
