Description
Papers is an Apple Design Award and Ars Design Award winning solution for managing research literature. Now, it's time for Papers 3 to take your personal library of research to a whole new level. Papers keeps your library organized and portable, automatically downloads full-text content for your articles, shows you related content when reading, and lets you sync your library between home and work, whether you're using Mac or PC, iPad or iPhone. Staying organized was never this easy.

What's new in Papers 3
The first thing you'll notice when starting Papers 3 is the new stunning user interface. One of the most important changes in Papers 3 is however almost invisible: how easy it is to sync your library between your computers (Macs or PCs) and your iPad and iPhone. We've taken a hard look at the whole application and built cloud based syncing as a core feature to all of Papers for Mac, Windows an iOS. Papers now uses Dropbox instead of a local wireless network for syncing, making it easier to get access to your library both at home and in institutional networks (other cloud based syncing services in addition to Dropbox to follow).

This is only the beginning:
• A fresh, new user interface: the new Papers experience is simpler and more organised.
• Navigation modes to keep your work and thoughts organized.
• Relevant article suggestions based on the content you are reading.
• Automatic PDF download when you import articles.
• Better than ever metadata discovery and matching.
• Stay connected: discover tweets and posts about the articles you are reading.
• View and annotate supplemental files directly within Papers 3.

Find:
Use any of the 25+ built-in search engines to find literature in your field of research. From PubMed, Scopus, to ArXiv, and Google Patents, a full range of options are available. Papers 3 for Mac now also shows you suggested articles based on what you are reading, and helps you discover content published by authors in your field. Your preferred search engines can be dragged to favorites, and results can be imported directly into your library.

Import and organize:
Import any article, or any other document supported by Papers and it is automatically renamed and organized according to your preferences. When you import references that include a link to the article online, Papers even automatically downloads the full-text PDF and a snapshot of the web version of the article for offline reading!

Write and cite:
Manuscript, email, or presentation. Entering citations has never been easier. Citations lets you format your document using one of over 6,300 citation styles. Citations is always running and just a keyboard shortcut away. Citations can be used with many applications.

Read:
Papers helps you focus on the task at hand. Read in full screen in the brand new re-designed PDF reading mode, highlight and annotate, and switch between different documents in tabs. Also new in Papers 3, you can view supplemental files and an offline copy of the article you're reading, directly in the app.
