Description

Currently at Electronic Arts, Paul G. Thuriot was the former Puppet (a.k.a. Creature TD) Supervisor at Tippett Studio. During his time there, he worked on many projects including the Blockbuster “ Carl and Ray” commercials, Blade 2, The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, and most recently, Hellboy™. Employing MEL and API coding in everyday tasks, he’s helped design and implement many of the studio’s proprietary pipeline and workflows including its dynamic muscle and skin plug-in systems. Paul holds a BA in drawing and painting and a Masters in computer animation. He has presented two Maya® MasterClasses™ and has taught many courses on advanced character setup and MEL scripting.
