Oyun içi birçok enstanenin yer aldığı görüntülerde, efektler adeta göz dolduruyor. 16 Eylül 2011'de Avrupa'da PC, PS3 ve X360 için satışa sunulacak olan Rage'in The Shrouded adlı yeni oynanış videosu yayınlandı. Oyun içi enstantanelere yer verilen trailer'da, id Tech 5 motorunun yetenekleri gözler önüne serilmiş. Rage satışa sunulduğunda, en iyi grafikli oyun unvanını elde edebilir.
