SecureFX meets your evolving file transfer needs with a single application that lets you choose between SFTP using an encrypted SSH2 connection for secure transfers, or standard FTP for nonsecure transfers. It has a simple Explorer-like interface, so it's easy to learn and use while offering powerful automation capabilities for unattended, secure file transfers.

Changes:

- SFTP: Changed the default compression to "None". This only

affects new installations.

Bug fixes:

- SecureFX crashed if the session was disconnected while a file was

being uploaded.

- SecureFX reported an error when attempting to connect to a host

that would not resolve and closing the session window before the

connection attempt timed out.

Van Dyke Technologies’in geliştirdiği SecureFX programı sayesinde, artık FTP transferlerini ve şifreli dosya transferlerini SSH2 ‘yi ve şifrelenmiş bağlantıları destekleyen bir sunucu üzerinden yapmakta. Kullanıcılar programı kullanarak geleneksel FTP ya da şifreli SSH2 sunucularına bağlanabiliyorlar. SSH2 sunucusuna bağlanıldığında kullanıcı ister SSH üzerinden FTP ile, ister en son teknoloji ürünü olan Secure Shell FTP (SFTP) ile gönderebiliyorlar. SFTP satıcının Vshell sunucusu ve diğer SSH2 sunucuları tarafından desteklenen ve FTP sunucusuna ihtiyaç duymadan FTP özelliklerini sağlayan çok yeni bir protocol olarak tanımlanıyor.

Sunucu, kullanıcılara Windows Explorer’a benzer bir arayüz ile “sürükle-bırak ” özelliğiyle dosyaları transfer etme kolaylığı sağlıyor. Site özellikleri basit bağlantılar için hafızada saklanabiliyor. “Yeni Site Sihirbaz”ı ve “Hızlı Bağlanma” tercihleri ile yeni bir sunucuya bağlanırken ilk hız arttırabiliniyor. Diğer özellikler kesilen bağlantılara devam edebilme, aynı anda bir çok dosyayı indirme özelliği desteği ve yanı sıra sitelerin eşzamanlamasını sağlama avantajlarını da içeriyor.
