Flow Simulator is an integrated software for designing liquid and gas flows, heat transfer and combustion, which allows you to combine simulation with fidelity to optimize the design of machines and systems.

This fluid system design tool provides interdisciplinary modeling and optimization within a single platform for machine design regarding fluid/thermal/combustion dynamics in a 3D design environment. This tool allows users to import actual hardware and use a 3D CAD point cloud to automatically create a computational model overlaid on the hardware. There is an extensive library of pre-configured elements/components to allow the modeling or simulation of a wide range of physical phenomena, including compressible/incompressible fluid flow, buoyant flow, rotating cavity system flow, conduction/convection/radiative heat transfer, equilibrium-equilibrium combustion and transport modes. Eight combinations of analysis modes are available (steady state, quasi-steady state and transient analysis for fluid dynamics, heat and burns) to predict system/subsystem operating conditions during cycle/flight simulation (flight mission, power increase, shutdown...etc). Control system components (proportional integral inverter (PID) controllers, direct and direct control functions) can be integrated with the computational model system/subsystem to optimize the performance of the modeled machine during cycle/mission analysis. closing...etc). Expanded library of pre-configured elements/components using a large set of publicly available experimental data for pressure drop and heat transfer characteristics. This fully extensible platform gives customers the ability to integrate their own IP and element formulations easily using Python scripts.
